In this video, these are exactly my fears. When you sign up with a freelancing website, they ask you to send them samples of some of the work that you have already done. What if you don’t have any samples? We need to know what type of work a VA will be doing or can do too. Editing, proofreading, typing documents or letters or more tech savvy things like creating a website, graphic design. Fiver and Upwork are companies where there are a lot of people advertising as VA’s and there are also people who are looking for VA’s on those sites.

Common pitfalls for sure. Fear plays a huge role in many failing businesses. Thanks for the encouragement. Determination, drive and confidence is definitely the way to go. Would love to know where the best places to look for work online would be? Thanks again

Hi, I get what you say about going out and grrting the work. However, aren’t there agencies th at can assist with finding that first client. I would like to know you or anyone else has had dealing with agencies?
But, this is a great and insightful video.

This was encouraging – you can’t keep researching, reading, etc., at some point you have to take action.

How can u go wrong with so much “right” help! Great and priceless for our newbies – the do it yourself bit is an eye opener for many! Just becasue they don’t spend RRRR they don’t realize it is costing them RRR!

The problem is people who are unemployed are not always able to layout cash to pay for expert advice. this is one of the biggest areas why people fail as well

Great Video. Regenerating the wheel helped me alot because I am the type that once to create my own systems so this is showing me how much time I would be wasting. Thank you.

    Hi Francis,
Interesting as one tends to think reinventing the wheel is the safest way of doing business. Needless to say that what works for one industry doesn’t always work for another.
Great explanation and video. Thank you.
